Dr. Vikas Lahar joined the Intermountain Healthcare’s Nature Park myGeneration Senior Clinic to be part of a dynamic organization that provides care to vulnerable populations. He enjoys forming lasting relationships with patients and tackling complex cases that draw on his experience and allow him to learn from other specialists.
Before joining Intermountain Healthcare, Dr. Lahar served as Chief Resident, Internal Medicine at Norwalk Hospital, an affiliate of Yale University in Norwalk, Connecticut, where he did his Residency in Internal Medicine. He was also a faculty member in internal medicine at the Greater Danbury Community Health Center in Danbury, Connecticut, where he directed outpatient resident education, mentorship, evaluation, and curriculum development for 27 Internal Medicine Primary Care Residents and has made presentations to many professional groups.
Dr. Lahar earned his MD from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland. He holds a BS with Honors and Distinctions specializing in Cell and Molecular Biology from University of Toronto at Scarborough. Dr. Lahar is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
In his spare time, Dr. Lahar enjoys hiking, listening to audio books, and trying new Instant Pot recipes. He is conversational in Hindi and Punjabi.
