Steven Henderson, PA-C

Growing up, Steven Henderson, PA-C always knew he wanted to go into medicine. He did not know he wanted to be a Physician Assistant until later in life, when he was in college. His primary caregiver at the time was a PA and he was impressed by her knowledge and skills, which ultimately inspired him to become a PA, too. Mr. Henderson completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine and received his Physician Assistant from the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Henderson practiced in California before moving to Nevada, where he has worked as a PA for over 29 years. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. At Intermountain Health, Mr. Henderson is a myGeneration Senior Clinic provider who specializes in adult primary care, senior care, endocrinology and rheumatology. Mr. Henderson enjoys working with adult patients and directing them towards wellness, but is especially passionate helping patients manage chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes. Since people are living longer, he believes it’s vitally important to enjoy the best quality of life possible. Mr. Henderson’s other passions include skiing, biking, kayaking, gardening, reading and playing with his three grandchildren. An avid dog lover, Mr. Henderson also enjoys coaching club soccer, which he’s done for more than 20 years.
