Sarah Erskine joined Intermountain Healthcare, formerly HealthCare Partners Nevada, in 2017 because she saw this as an opportunity to partner with a company whose philosophy and practice aligns to provide quality patient care.
She enjoys taking care of each patient and respecting their dignity while providing the best healthcare experience possible. She believes patients should take a proactive approach to their health. Given the right resources, they can often become self-directive.
Sarah Erskine grew up in Zimbabwe and Ghana where she witnessed firsthand the healthcare challenges people face. She was motivated from the beginning of her nursing career to combine what she learned in academics to her clinical work.
Sarah Erskine says that if she hadn’t become a nurse, she would have loved to be a chef. In her spare time, she enjoys food, travel, speaking several languages, and spending time with family and friends.
Sarah Erskine earned her BSN at Berea College and her MSN in Adult Gerontology at South University, where she studied to become a Nurse Practitioner.
