With a father as a pharmacist and a physician cousin, young Paul Hamor wondered whether he should go into medicine or engineering. Compelled by his desire to help others, he decided that becoming a doctor was better for him and he’s never regretted it since.
Dr. Hamor completed both his pre-medical and medical degrees at the University of the East, in Manila, Philippines. He pursued a rotating internship at Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital in Quezon City, Philippines before moving to the US to completed his medical internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Ohio. Given his passion for learning, he subsequently completed a residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA San Fernando Valley in California and was a Fellow in Nephrology at Bauer Hospital, St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, California.
Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Hamor blends his multi-specialty background into ensuring the patient’s satisfaction. He loves problem-solving and enjoys the more challenging cases. Dr. Hamor also enjoys working with his caregivers at the clinic.
When Dr. Hamor isn’t seeing patients, he can be found in the community leading efforts to immunize kids or teach a new generation of medical providers through his associations with Touro University and the Philippine Medical Association of Nevada.
Dr. Hamor enjoys golf, gardening and was recognized for “Best Bedside Manner Doctor” at Spring Valley Hospital in 2011.
