Mehdi Shamloo, MD

Dr. Mehdi Shamloo joined Intermountain Health in 2020 after six years of medical practice.

Dr. Shamloo enjoys not only treating patients but also empowering and educating them as well. He likes to help adolescent and adult patients find their unique personal path toward better health.

Growing up in Toronto, Canada, Dr. Shamloo gained a love for the great outdoors. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking in the mountains, playing poker, and traveling. He has a keen interest in extraterrestrial life and ancient civilizations.

Dr. Shamloo earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Manitoba and his MD from Saba University School of Medicine in the Caribbean. He completed his residency in upstate New York and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
