Dr. Marianne Hazelitt believes in nutrition and natural medicine through dietary changes to help reverse disease and reduce the need for medications. She helps her patients with weight loss, natural pain relief, diabetes, and obesity in order to regain their health and live life to the fullest.
Dr. Hazelitt served as the medical director for West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, where she won several awards, including Director of the Year. She later returned to Nevada, where she became the lead hospitalist for Rural Physicians Group in Pahrump and later established a private practice.
Dr. Hazelitt holds a degree in biology from UC San Diego and a BS in biology from Mountain State University. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Henderson and did her residency in internal medicine at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
In her spare time, Dr. Hazelitt enjoys dancing, theatre, classic films, travel, and swimming.
