Dr. Johnathan Taitano joined the Intermountain Healthcare because he enjoys seeing patients recover from illnesses and stay healthy. He gets the most satisfaction out of serving patients who feel they’ve tried everything and just can’t get any better.
Dr. Taitano previously worked as a sound physician, nocturnist at St. Rose Dominican, Siena Campus; as a Las Vegas hospitalist at St. Rose Dominican, San Martin Campus; and as a platinum hospitalist at Spring Valley Hospital. He has also worked as a staff environmental professional in Englewood, Colorado, and Barrigada, Guam, and as a medical microbiologist in Tamuning, Guam.
Dr. Taitano is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association. He has won the Guam Commendation Medal and was named to the University of Guam Dean’s List and Who’s Who of American Colleges and Universities.
Dr. Taitano earned his BA in Biology from University of Guam and his DO from Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Arizona. He did his residency in internal medicine at Valley Hospital Medical Center.
Dr. Taitano is surrounded and inspired by medical professionals – his father is an MD and his wife is an APRN.
