Dr. Jazzmine Baluyot joined Intermountain Healthcare because she recognized us as an organization that provides quality care to patients and also values the well-being of our physicians. She enjoys working with patients to create a personalized healthcare plan, especially cases that involve procedures that provide immediate relief or answers, such as joint injections and skin biopsies.
Dr. Baluyot grew up in Las Vegas and realized the need for primary care physicians in the valley. She began her journey in medicine with a BS in biology from UNLV, followed by a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro University Nevada. She did her residency in family medicine at Methodist Charlton Hospital in Dallas. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and has done research in the areas of obesity, diabetic eyesight screening, and worked with Las Vegas Fire and Rescue to bring CPR training to residents of high-risk areas of town.
In her spare time, Dr. Baluyot volunteers at the Agape Clinic and does sports physicals for local high schools. She enjoys travel, cooking, gardening, DIY projects, and reading.
