Dr. Jaclyn Ryave joined Intermountain Health because she admired the way our team members focus on wellness for patients and providers and the emphasis on quality of care and preventive medicine. Dr. Ryave specializes in senior care and enjoys building lasting relationships with patients, helping those with mental health needs get through their toughest moments.

Before joining Intermountain Health, Dr. Ryave served as Chief Resident and as a family medicine resident at UNLV’s Department of Family and Community Medicine. She also worked as a research assistant on colorectal cancer and head and neck cancers and as a lab technician in Massachusetts.

Dr. Ryave earned her DO degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. She also holds an MS in biotechnology and a BA in biology from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Dr. Ryave participates in numerous professional lectures and workshops on topics including diabetes, colorectal cancer screening, mammograms, asthma, blood thinners, lower back pain, pneumonia, gallstones, as well as hypertensive emergency and strokes. She has worked on special projects regarding human trafficking and dermatology curriculum for medical residents and has also taught obstetric life support and human trafficking to medical students.

In her spare time, Dr. Ryave is a passionate supporter of animal rescue work and has 3 rescue dogs and 2 cats. She is also an avid home cook and foodie, has played collegiate soccer and lives with her husband who is a family medicine physician.
