Dr. Hima Illindala has always enjoyed being in a clinic. Dr. Illindala’s father was a doctor and she spent time with him at his clinic in Hyderabad, India, where she was inspired to pursue a career in medicine.
At Intermountain Health, Dr. Illindala is an internal medicine myGeneration Senior Clinic provider, meaning she provides care to senior patients from all backgrounds. She likes spending time with her patients and building a rapport with them. She also enjoys educating patients about their conditions and helping them to create a preventative care plan.
When she’s not busy working with patients, she spends her free time singing, cooking, watching and playing sports. She also has two children and loves spending time with them.
Dr. Illindala attended medical school at Gandhi Medical in Hyderabad, India. She completed her internship at Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad and her internal medicine residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Dr. Illindala is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is fluent in Telugu, Hindi, and English.
