Eric Benjamin was attracted to Intermountain Healthcare, formerly HealthCare Partners Nevada, because he got a good feeling after talking to several employees and realizing that we put patients first. He takes great satisfaction in watching patients improve during follow-up visits.
Mr. Benjamin says he took the scenic route to medicine, starting his career as a high school science teacher. Over the years he’s held a wide variety of jobs, including designer/photographer, retail manager, nuclear chemist, and phlebotomist.
While in school in Las Vegas, he worked in many aspects of medicine, including pediatric cardiovascular surgery, cardiology, behavioral health, emergency medicine, interventional radiology, dermatology, and OB/GYN. His photography has been published in magazines worldwide. In his spare time, he enjoys riding bicycles, traveling, reading, and taking more photos.
Mr. Benjamin earned his MS in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University Nevada and his BSE from Emporia State University in Kansas. He is currently licensed by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support.
