Dr. Corey Lum joined Intermountain Healthcare with three years of medical practice experience specializing in Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology. He is proud to be part of a team that provides high-quality and cost-effective care. He enjoys caring for advanced heart failure patients and helping them obtain therapies such as a left ventricular assist device or heart transplantation.
Dr. Lum has practiced medicine in Hawaii and California, and has served as a clinical instructor, assistant professor, and telemedicine physician. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology, and The National Board of Echocardiography. He has published numerous articles in medical journals on cardiovascular topics.
Dr. Lum earned his BS in Exercise Biology from The University of California, Davis (UC Davis) in Davis, California. He earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from Touro University of Nevada, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Henderson, Nevada. He did his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at University of Hawaii in Honolulu, Hawaii. He also did a fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology at The University of California, Los Angeles.
