Dr. Charles Knight brings more than two decades of practice experience to his position at Intermountain Health’s Pahrump Shoshone myGeneration Senior Clinic. He enjoys spending time with patients and believes in practicing medicine with a value-based approach.
Before joining Intermountain Health, Dr. Knight spent several years in private practice in Louisiana, as well as several hospitals in the area. Dr. Knight earned his MD from University of Texas in San Antonio. He did his residency at Alton Oschner Medical Foundation in New Orleans.
He then moved to the West, practicing in medical centers in Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. He served in the US Army Reserve as an armor company executive officer, chemical officer, and platoon leader. As an undergraduate student in Texas, Dr. Knight participated in cancer cell biology research.
Dr. Knight is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Society of Hospital Medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, hiking, golf, fishing, and chess.
