Mr. Benjamin Cabasada is a Nurse Practitioner who specializes in the care of treating older adults. While his career goal was initially to go into IT, he decided that medicine was more reflective of his culture’s caring nature and more suitable for him.
After receiving his bachelors in Industrial Engineering in the Philippines, Mr. Cabasada moved to the U.S. and pursued his bachelors in nursing and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland, School of Nursing, Maryland. He then received his master’s in nursing with an emphasis in gerontology from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Nursing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois.
Driven to serve his patients and continually learning, Mr. Cabasada enjoys helping senior patients live their best lives possible. As a myGeneration Senior Clinic provider, he is skilled in managing chronic conditions and enjoys the extra time he gets to spend getting to know them as people, not just patients. When he is not at work, Mr. Cabasada enjoys spending time with his family dining out, going to movies, or taking a vacation. He also enjoys singing his church’s choir with his wife and their children.
