Benjamin Cabasada is a nurse practitioner who specializes in primary care for older adults. While his career goal was initially to go into IT, he decided that medicine was more reflective of his culture’s caring nature and a more suitable calling.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering in the Philippines, Mr. Cabasada moved to the United States and pursued his bachelor’s degree in nursing, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Nursing. He then received his master of science in nursing (MSN) degree with an emphasis in gerontology from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and his doctor of nursing practice (DNP) degree from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois.
At Intermountain Healthcare, Mr. Cabasada’s focus is on providing the best senior care possible. He takes the time in each appointment to listen and get to know his patients as unique individuals to learn how he can best guide them along their healthcare journey.
When he is not at work, Mr. Cabasada enjoys spending time with his family dining out, going to movies, or traveling for vacation. He also enjoys singing in his church’s choir with his wife and children.
