Dr. Audrey Cruz brought six years of medical practice experience to her position at Intermountain Health’s Blue Diamond myGeneration Senior Clinic location.
Dr. Cruz grew up in Las Vegas and attended medical school in Reno, where she had the opportunity to rotate with various primary care clinics, which influenced her decision to pursue internal medicine.
Dr. Cruz earned her MD degree from University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. She did her residency at Loma Linda University Health in Loma Linda, California. She began her medical practice at the Loma Linda University Health Center as a staff provider and Assistant Professor of Medicine after doing her residency there. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering.
Dr. Cruz has published an article titled “The Use of Plasmapheresis for the Treatment of Rhabdomyolysis Secondary to MDMA Ingestion” in a professional journal. During her residency at Loma Linda University Health, she received the Senior Resident as Teacher and Evaluator Award.
In her spare time, Dr. Cruz enjoys travel, photography, makeup and skin care, spending time with her young son, and creating educational content on social media platforms where she is a lifestyle blogger. She understands conversational Tagalog.
