Dr. Art Roo Saberola grew up in a medical family – parents, sister, wife and in-laws were doctors. He has always wanted to be in the medical field, and he joined Intermountain Healthcare, formerly HealthCare Partners Nevada, Nellis Boulevard Clinic in 2020 after 4 years of nursing and 3 years of MD practice.
Dr. Saberola enjoys working with older patients and is very aware of costs and how to save his patients money. He strives to provide quality treatment for lifestyle diseases and make his patients aware of preventive and screening programs.
He earned his MD from Manila Central University College of Medicine and his BS in Nursing from Adventist University in his native Philippines, and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Critical Care Nursing. He is a licensed physician in the Philippines and a board certified family nurse practitioner in the USA. He has authored professional articles and research and has served as editor of the Topnotch Medical Review. He has worked as a surgeon on duty and emergency room physician on duty in several hospitals in the Philippines in addition to practicing family medicine in the USA.
Dr. Saberola’s humanitarian endeavors include volunteering and organizing several medical-surgical missions in the Philippines with his family. His hobbies include sports, outdoor activities, and singing in a choir that won international competitions.
