Why Choose Intermountain Health for Cardiac Care in Nevada?

Unified Care

Because providers at Intermountain Health collaborate regularly and operate under a unified philosophy, our cardiologists regularly communicate with the patient’s primary care physician (PCP), ensuring consistent, comprehensive care. Best of all, cardiologists and PCPs can share medical records in real-time to help prevent important details from being missed when it comes to your care.

 A History of Innovation

Intermountain Health cardiology has been at the forefront of leading medical developments in Nevada and is the first healthcare provider in the state to use MRI safe pacemakers and defibrillators. Our team was also the first in the state to treat patients using the WATCHMAN Device, a permanent implant designed to close the left atrial appendage in the heart, reducing the risk of stroke.

Industry-Revered Standards

Our cardiology division boasts the highest patient satisfaction scores across all of our Nevada services for its significant focus on combining quality care and cost containment.
